Now celebrating his 19th year at the helm of the practice, he provides general healthcare services for cats and dogs, as well as specialized care for senior pets, emergency services, surgery and advanced treatments such as laser therapy.

One of eight children born to a family of New Jersey-based dairy farmers, Dr. Halper's exposure to animals started at an early age. Prior to acquiring Hillview Veterinary Clinic, he worked for an equine practice and then honed his skills at a mixed animal practice in eastern Ohio. From there, Dr. Halper worked at a small animal practice in central New Jersey. As a result of his experience, he has garnered a reputation for excellence in the field of veterinary medicine.

Dr. Halper attended The Ohio State University, where he received his DVM. He holds a bachelor of science from Rutgers University and a master of science in physiology from Michigan State University. His professional affiliations include the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Hospital Association and the American College of Veterinary Dermatology.
